The mother of the late Michael Jackson will share responsibilities as guardian with the children's cousin TJ Jackson, who took on the role last month after Katherine had left her residence for a short period.
A new court ruling today states that the pair will both be guardians of Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson until a further hearing on August 22 to see if the move shall be made permanent, reports TMZ.
A court appointed investigator had said that Katherine Jackson had done a "terrific job as guardian and the children love her", adding: "They also have a close relationship with their cousin, TJ Jackson."
He claimed that the pair have continued to look after the children well after the death of their father in 2009.
Jermaine Jackson recently called for the ongoing Jackson family feud in relation to Michael Jackson's will to end.
