'Crazy in Love' singer Beyoncé shared her excitement over the Team USA win in a post on her official website.
"A huge congratulations to 16-year-old Olympic Gold Medallist Gabby Douglas - Wow - what a thrill to watch you take this Gold!" she wrote.
Beyoncé's message continued: "I can tell you've been working hard for so long - enjoy this moment, it's yours. Thank you for inspiring all of us!"
Oprah Winfrey previously acknowledged the historic nature of Douglas's gold medal triumph.
"OMG I'm so THRILLED for Gabby. Flowing happy tears!! #TeamUSA," the presenter tweeted.
Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Elizabeth Banks and Octavia Spencer have also congratulated Douglas on Twitter.
