Drake to spend summer graduating from high school

Drake has spoken about his summer plans away from his career.

The 'Make Me Proud' rapper revealed that he aims to obtain his high school diploma this summer.

He told NOW magazine: "I'm actually spending my summer graduating high school. That's my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left, and I'm really excited about that."

Drake is the headliner for the 3rd Annual OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, August 5, performing on stage with guest artists A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz and The Weeknd.

Drake recently picked up five nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards, including 'Video of the Year' for his track 'Take Care'.

The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 will be held in Los Angeles on September 6.
