The Beady Eye frontman is said to have spent £1.6 million ($2.5 million) on the property, which is located in Manhattan.
The Sun reports that Gallagher's new two-bedroom flat is located on the building's 17th floor, with a dining area that overlooks Central Park and a wine cooler unit that can hold up to 40 bottles.
The building is also said to have a laundrette, valet and a 24-hour concierge service.
Gallagher is rumoured to be one of the performers at this Sunday's closing ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games, replacing brother Noel Gallagher on the bill.
He was also shortlisted for NME's 'Ultimate Icon' award last month alongside John Lennon, David Bowie and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.
