Joan Rivers formed a one-woman protest at a Costco store in Los Angeles yesterday (August 8).
The comedian was filmed handcuffing herself to a customer's shopping cart in the wholesale store after the chain banned her new book I Hate Everything... Starting with Me, due to adult jokes on the back cover.
Rivers compared Costco to "Nazi Germany" during her protest against unfair censorship at the shop in Burbank, reports TMZ.
Rivers is seen shouting into a loud horn: "Costco should not be like Nazi Germany. Next thing they'll be burning the bible."
She eventually left the store after management called police to ask her to leave.
Joan Rivers is scheduled to host two stand-up shows to benefit the New Orleans Healing Centre on August 21.
