The NFL star was taken into custody on Saturday in Davie, Florida after an alleged altercation with wife Evelyn Lozada, reports TMZ.

According to law enforcement sources, Ochocinco "head-butted" Lozada while arguing, causing lacerations on her forehead which forced her to seek treatment at a local hospital.
The row which sparked the incident is said to have arisen when Lozada confronted Ochocinco about a store receipt for condoms that she found in the athlete's car. Ochocinco has since told police that he head-butted his wife "by accident".
Ochocinco remains behind bars and cannot be released until he goes before a county judge.
The couple married in July after announcing their engagement in December 2010.
