Chenoweth was hospitalised in July after being struck on the head by lighting equipment while filming the CBS drama. She was spotted in New York yesterday (August 14) wearing a neck brace.
She announced on Monday (August 13) that she would not be returning to The Good Wife as a result of the head injuries she suffered.
Chenoweth tweeted her disappointment at not being able to attend the event: "To all in the movie HIT AND RUN: wish i was at premiere tonight! Have fun!"
