Holmes and her 6-year-old daughter Suri recently visited relatives in Toledo, Ohio, almost two months after it emerged that Holmes and Cruise had decided to divorce.

Some reports alleged that the trip was the first time Suri had met her cousins, but a source has now denied the claims.
"To say Tom prevented anything is a gross lie," the insider told People. "He not only didn't prevent [Suri having a relationship with Holmes' family] but encouraged it and paid for it!"
The source added that Cruise paid for Holmes's relatives to attend Suri's birthday parties and said that the family spent one Thanksgiving in Toledo with Cruise's teenage children when Cruise himself was unable to get home because of filming.
The insider also revealed that Cruise invited Holmes's relatives to New Orleans in the spring.
Recent reports have claimed that Suri has "adjusted well" following her parents' split, while Cruise and Holmes are thought to be "civilised" with each other.
