Sir Elton makes mid-gig dash to be sick

Sir Elton John had to rush off stage half way through a show to be sick.

He disappeared in front of 15,000 fans at the performance in Brisbane, Australia, just as he was about to launch into 'Crocodile Rock'.

The star left without a word or explanation, leaving the audience bemused, but returned five minutes later. He announced: “I thought I’d better chunder in the toilet rather than all over the front row!”

Sir Elton bravely continued, holding off any stomach problems, and performed for another 45 minutes.
