Heather Mills received more abuse yesterday, becoming the butt of the presenter's jokes at an award ceremony.
Broadcaster Ned Sherrin joined those criticising Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London.
As he read out a list of nominees for Best Actress, he praised Frances O'Connor for her performances as poet TS Eliot's mentally ill wife in Tom and Viv.
The play was about a man "who has his unstable wife locked in an asylum," he told the audience. "Paul McCartney is said to have seen it 10 times."
Just two weeks ago Jonathan Ross attacked Mills at the Q Awards over claims she had apparently made against Sir Paul. "Heather Mills McCartney - what a f****** liar," he announced, to cheers. "I wouldn't be surprised if we found she's actually got two legs."
