Eva Longoria has announced her engagement to partner Tony Parker.
The actress and basketball player Parker have occupied a lot of media space of late with their relationship troubles, but Parker proposed to his partner on Wednesday night, having flown home straight from a game.
Publicist Liza Anderson confirmed: "I am thrilled to announce that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, who have been dating steadily for two years, are officially engaged." She added the couple hope to tie the knot in Parker's native France in 2007, with a "'big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends".
