The 'Celebrate' singer said that maintaining a healthy diet while on the road promoting her new film Sparkle has been increasingly important to maintaining the weight loss, as she has not had much time to work out.
"It's been so crazy... that's where really watching what I eat comes into play," Sparks explained to US Weekly.
"I've been trying to stay away from all of the stuff at the airports, because that's where I've been living. I've been trying to eat a lot of salads, apples, fruits - I've been trying to stick with things like that so I can snack on those instead of being like, 'Oh look, a bag of chips! I'll just have those!'"
However, Sparks admitted that she still allows herself treats on occasion, adding that she enjoys In-N-Out burger. "Well, that, or my mum's sweet potato casserole," she said. "It's a good thing she only makes that once a year because I would eat it all day long!"
The 22-year-old has previously insisted that she looks good at any size and is comfortable with her body.
