Jennifer Love Hewitt has denied claims that she and boyfriend Ross McCall are expecting a baby together.

The Ghost Whisperer actress was shocked to read speculation that she is pregnant after being spotted with what looked like a baby bump while shopping in Los Angeles.

Hewitt's publicist told Star magazine: "There's 100 per cent no truth to this. It's completely ridiculous. Jennifer is not pregnant.

"A website made up that story after reading some internet comments on PerezHilton.com. Perez didn't even write that story. So it came out of some web talk."
