Paul McCartney has insisted that he wants to maintain "a dignified silence" about his marriage split.
The former Beatle has vowed not to follow in the footsteps of his estranged wife Heather Mills, who recently defended herself in an interview for US television.
"I think it's best to keep a dignified silence about personal matters, don't you?" he told the Radio Times.
McCartney also denied claims that he is "haunted" by the split and revealed that concentrating on his music has been extremely therapeutic.
