The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William showed their support for the Paralympics by cheering on the competitors at the velodrome for the cycling event on day one of the Games (August 30).

The 30-year-old future Queen, who also participated in the Mexican wave with Wills, arrived at the Velodrome in an official Team GB red airtex, navy skinny fit jeans and a pair of red Adidas trainers.

The young royal couple, joined by Deputy Chairman of British Rowing Annamarie Phelps, her husband, and their former bridesmaid Lady Louise Windsor, watched as Team GB's Sarah Storey broke a world record in the individual pursuit.

Earlier in the day, the Duchess met with Paralympic staff and watched as Great Britain were beaten by World Champions Lithuania in Goalball.

Despite reports that he's set to attend the Paralympics, Prince Harry was absent today.
