The Hollywood veteran is said to be appearing tonight (August 30) at the four-day convention in Florida, where the political party is rallying around presidential candidate Mitt Romney's bid for the White House.

A source supposedly confirmed the speculation to Fox News after online reports claimed that Eastwood would attend the convention.
Earlier this month, Eastwood endorsed Romney in this year's presidential race against Barack Obama.
Eastwood was recently joined by Jon Voight as another celebrity supporting Romney.
Voight said that Romney will win because of his "great talents", "great compassion" and "great gifts of leadership".
