Perry and the 'Wonderland' singer apparently shared a brief fling over the summer, which reportedly came to an end earlier this month.

It has also been claimed that Mayer ended the relationship due to Perry's frequent partying.
A source close to the singer-songwriter told Us Weekly that Mayer was "tired of Perry's hard partying and decided to pull the plug."
"He dumped her over email," the source added. "She was furious and really hurt. She was into him, but he wasn't feeling it."
Katy Perry was also linked to Florence & the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd earlier this year.
