According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story alleges that the church brought in Scientologist actresses for the audition process, telling them that they were up for a role in a church training film.

The magazine reports that one actress, Iranian-British actress Nazanin Boniadi, was made to tell a Scientology official about her past, including her sexual history in a month-log preparation to meet Cruise.
Upon meeting Cruise in New York City, Boniadi apparently offended him when she congratulated him on receiving the Scientology Freedom Medal of Valor by saying "very well done," which Cruise believed was rude.
Later, Boniadi allegedly offended a Scientology church official by asking him to repeat himself, and was promptly asked to leave.
Boniadi, the new report claims, was later made by the Church of Scientology to scrub toilets with a toothbrush, clean bathroom tiles and dig ditches as punishment for later relating the story to a friend.
Representatives at the Church of Scientology have refuted the claims in the upcoming article, saying: "The Church does not punish people, especially in [that] manner."
Tom Cruise was recently served with divorce papers by estranged wife Katie Holmes, who some rumours have claimed was part of the secret auditioning process.
