Houghton confirmed in her magazine column late last month that she is having "time apart" from Reid following a massive row over his "sexual preferences" sparked when he tried leaving their house with a bag of sex toys.
She also revealed that she did not spend her 29th birthday two weeks ago with Reid and instead celebrated with their two-month-old daughter Dolly.
However, Houghton has insisted throughout their issues that the couple are still together, while Reid last week tweeted: "I love both of my girls so so much."
Though he admitted he was "far from perfect", the ex-husband of Katie Price also urged his followers not to take reports of his behaviour too seriously.
"Please don't believe everything u read," he wrote. "Unless u believe I'm an ogre who eats small children livin in a cave."
