Frankie Cocozza reveals new look: 'I'm lucky I've got another chance'

Frankie Cocozza has said that he has another chance to do what he wants.

The former X Factor contestant told Reveal that the recent death of his friend Connor Saunders has had a significant effect on him.



"I was in Scotland and woke up to find 175 missed calls on my phone," Cocozza said.

"It was 8am and I was still pissed from the night before. I knew he wasn't going to make it and travelled straight back to Brighton, but didn't manage to see Connor before he passed away."



Cocozza admitted spending £28,000 on alcohol after his friend's death before an intervention from his auntie Toni.

"All Connor ever wanted for me was to focus on my music," he said.

"He was the only one I confided in before X Factor, and he came to my first audition with me. I want to turn things around and make him proud."

Cocozza said that his ex-X Factor mentor Gary Barlow gave him advice on his career.

"He came round for a cup of tea and told me to focus on the music," he said.

"I'm lucky. I've got another chance to do what I want."
