Duncan's eulogy will be given by Dr H Beecher Hicks.
A public viewing of Duncan's casket will be held in the Hall of Liberty at the Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks and Mortuaries in Hollywood Hills.
The viewing is scheduled to take place between 9am and 2pm local time on Sunday, September 9 and has been set up so that fans and members of the public can pay their respects to the actor, who died on Monday, September 3 at the age of 54.
The Oscar-nominated actor had experienced cardiac arrest in July, and it is believed that he never fully recovered.
Duncan's fiancé Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth was quoted as saying that the death of the man she dubbed "the love of my life" had left her "devastated".
