Russell Brand defends Geri Halliwell on stage: She's no hairy Jaffa Cake

Russell Brand reportedly defended Geri Halliwell during a stand-up gig last night.

The comedian briefly dated the Spice Girls singer, but they are thought to have ended their romance earlier this week.



A heckler is said to have shouted out a sexual question at his gig in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, reports The Sun.

Someone said: "Is she ginger all over?"

Brand replied: "Don't be dirty. She's not got hair on her back. She's not like an orange Yeti.

"She's not like some hairy Jaffa Cake bear. She's still a person, she's still an actual person."

Geri Halliwell recently described their short romance as a "whirlwind".

Russell Brand is said to now be dating RADA student Aimee Levoir.
