Eddie Murphy's mother blamed for Mel B split

A friend of Eddie Murphy's jilted girlfriend Melanie Brown has reportedly claimed that the Beverly Hills Cop star's mother was a prime factor in ending their relationship.
The former Spice Girl's friend told the Daily Mirror that Murphy "lives with his mother and she didn't approve of Mel. But he's a 45-year-old man and should stop being such a mummy's boy."
The source added: "Mel and Eddie had been rowing a lot about his family, most of whom are on his payroll. They were suspicious of Mel because she got pregnant so quickly after they met."
On Monday, Murphy announced on a Dutch chat show that he will be demanding a DNA test on pregnant Brown's child.
