Elizabeth Banks, Diane Lane for 'Every Secret Thing'

Elizabeth Banks has signed on to star in the upcoming crime drama Every Secret Thing, it has been reported.

She will join actress Diane Lane in the film penned by Friends with Money scribe Nicole Holofcener, according to Collider.



The film will tell the story of two women who are convicted for the murder of a baby when they were 11 years old, and released at age 18.

Filming on the movie, which will be directed by Amy Berg, is scheduled to begin in February 2013.

Fargo actress Frances McDormand will serve as a producer with Merced Media Partners, Hyde Park and Palmstar.

Banks, who recently starred opposite Chris Pine in People Like Us, is also rumoured to be circling a possible Wet Hot American Summer prequel.
