A new comic book has been launched starring Pete Doherty - and mocking his rock star antics.
The Babyshambles singer is the main character in A Boy Called Pete, an illustrated book written in the style of a children's book.
As he travels around, Pete “sings songs and wears hats”, indulges in “mind-bending drugs” and gets up to no good with his friend Kate - a reference to on/off girlfriend Kate Moss.
However, in the work, published by website Popjustice, Pete ends up in a “very big house with big walls” - while the real Doherty has so far avoided a prison sentence.
Peter Robinson, who runs the site, told The Sun that the book should act as a warning to young readers.
