Liam Gallagher befriends David Gest

Liam Gallagher has found a new friend in David Gest when the pair met in a restaurant in London.

The Oasis singer was having lunch with girlfriend Nicole Appleton and X Factor host Kate Thornton when he spotted the I'm a Celebrity... contestant.

According to The Sun, Gallagher bounded over to David Gest and said, "I love you man, I voted for you in the jungle."

Gest apparently had no idea who Liam Gallagher was, but after a few glasses of wine the pair rang Matt Willis.

According to the King of the Jungle, David Gest said, "There's some guy here and he keeps kissing me and telling me I'm awesome. He's with lots of girls and his name's Liam."
