Madonna wears chinchilla coat

Madonna has come under fire from animal rights groups after being spotted out wearing a coat made from chinchilla fur.

The singer was seen wearing the coat leaving Cecconi's diner in Mayfair, London with husband Guy Ritchie.

Madonna, 48, has angered celebrity friends like Stella McCartney before by wearing real animal fur.

Karen Chisholm, a representative of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said, "Wearing a coat got Madonna attention. But it brought painful deaths to animals."
