George Clooney spokesperson denies Stacey Keibler split reports

George Clooney has denied reports that he has split up with girlfriend Stacey Keibler.

The Up in the Air actor was rumoured to have ended his relationship with the former WWE star after one year together.



However, Clooney's representative Stan Rosenfield has now strongly dismissed the report.

"A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. [It is a] total fabrication designed to sell newspapers," Rosenfeld told E! News.

The original source had alleged: "She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married.



"Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her."

The couple recently spent several weeks at Clooney's villa on Lake Como and travelling around Europe.

Keibler was seen at Vera Wang's show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week yesterday (Tuesday, September 11). When asked by reporters if Clooney was going to join her, she is quoted as saying: "I don't know, ask him."
