The Ted actress, a female friend and ten others apparently became trapped in New York City's West Village on Sunday (September 9) when their elevator shut down in the middle of a ride.
Firefighters and other security workers were quick on the scene and were able to free everyone in the elevator after 45 minutes, according to Page Six.
An eyewitness said: "Mila and everyone else remained calm. There were firetrucks outside, and firefighters helped them get out."
A spokesperson for Kunis has not commented on the alleged incident.
Last week, it was reported that Kunis and rumoured boyfriend Ashton Kutcher are planning to adopt a dog together in the near future.
She will next appear on the big screen with James Franco and Michelle Williams in Oz: The Great and Powerful, opening on March 8 in the US and the UK.
