Justin Bieber to become hockey star?

By
Justin Bieber has reportedly been offered a contract with a national minor league hockey team.

Matt O'Dette, head coach of Canada's Bakersfield Condors, told E! News that they would be offering the star a tryout contract for the upcoming season, adding: "Very rarely do you see this combination of skill and toughness."

Bieber, who was involved in a car crash at the end of August, was spotted playing hockey last December with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

O'Dette added: "[I'd] scouted some video of him online skating with my hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he's a right-handed shot, which we've been looking to add."

Matt Riley, general manager of the Condors, said that the team have reached out to Bieber via his manager and are "hopeful" that he will take up their offer.

Bieber announced today that he is set to perform with Big Sean on the America's Got Talent final results show on Thursday, September 13. Watch below:
