The Celebrity Big Brother winner confirmed her separation from Reid on Twitter last Friday (September 7) following his arrest on suspicion of causing criminal damage and using violence to secure entry to their Essex home.

Houghton has now taken to the social networking site again to blast the "disgusting allegations" by Now that the incident "was all part of a master plan on her part to publicly paint him as a villain".
The pertinent article also quotes Reid himself as saying: "Everyone thinks she's this poor little girl, but she deliberately locked me out of the house, knowing the reaction it'd get.
"She knows what buttons to press. I'm sick of being portrayed as the bad guy."
In tweets published this afternoon (September 12), Houghton stated: "Suing NOW magazine for their disgraceful story they've printed this week it is categorically not true and I can prove it.
"Im (sic) struggling enough without these disgusting allegations, I am pretty much on the floor right now."
Houghton, who has an 11-week-old daughter named Dolly with Reid, wrote in her New magazine column this week that she is "really hurting" from the break-up.
