The 26-year-old singer, who shaved her head in tribute to photographer Terry Richardson's late mother, shared a snap of her new inking on her Little Monsters website, adding: "You're a made woman of the art mafia."
GaGa also shared photos of the cheribum tattoo being etched onto the back of her scalp, with the caption: "Tatting Guggenheim :just an average day."

Speaking about the design, tattooist Mark Mahoney explained: "It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage."
On doing it in front of a huge crowd during the party, he added: "Once I got the pattern on, I realised it was just a perfect image for that place on the body. I knew it was going to be fine, just because it seemed to fit so perfectly right there."

The tattooing was part of the live art installations taking place at the bash. Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and designer Marc Jacobs were a few of the guests in attendance.
