Speaking at Norwich Crown Court, Bowers denied two counts of racially-aggravated assault on separate victims and one count of racially-aggravated harassment.
The alleged incident took place on June 2 at 5am on Norwich's Prince of Wales Road and the trial was originally due to start on September 14.
Bowers, 32, of Ambercroft Way, Coulsdon, South London will now face trial on November 21.
The singer was a member of boyband Another Level between 1997 and 2000 before performing with Truesteppers for a pair of top-ten singles.
He then released a clutch of solo singles, and in 2010 confirmed plans for a musical comeback.
Bowers has also worked as a DJ for several years and earlier this year was reported to be working with ex-girlfriend Katie Price on her own musical return.
