Lachey and his wife Vanessa Lachey welcomed their first child Camden John last Wednesday (September 12).

The 38-year-old has now taken to his Twitter page to express his joy at becoming a father.
"Officially in cheesy dad mode," he said. "Camden is easily the most amazing thing that has happened in my life."
Lachey added: "@VanessaLachey and i are truly blessed!"
Before Camden was born, Lachey revealed that he was "excited" about becoming a dad, saying: "For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I've looked forward to this moment. Now that it's almost here, it's awesome."
