Tom Daley: 'I want to star in movies'

London 2012 medallist Tom Daley has said that he would be interested in a film career.

The Olympic diver revealed that he is willing to "try anything" after the Games and reaffirmed his desire to take on more media work.



"At the moment I am studying, but I would like to become a TV presenter or something along those lines," the Evening Standard quotes him as saying.

"Film work, I'd love to do anything like that. I would love to try anything new really, be it star in a film or playing a small little part in something like that, that would be pretty cool."

However, the 18-year-old - who enjoyed a homecoming parade in Plymouth yesterday (September 19) - clarified that studying for his A-Levels is his top priority for now.



"I am using these subjects to maybe get me into university, some sort of degree," Daley said. "I don't really know what I want to do yet but I will be thinking about that over the next year."

Daley was snapped partying with the likes of Kylie Minogue and One Direction at Gavin & Stacey star James Corden's wedding reception this weekend.
