Dawn French believes her larger size aids her bedroom activities with husband Lenny Henry.

The Vicar of Dibley star told the Daily Express: "Big women do sex fantastically well. We know how to use our mighty weight; we know the considerable power of a full and voluptuous body."

French then added: "For Len, thin women are a turn-off."

She also explained that she would "rather read a book" than adopt a plan of exercise to lose weight. She cites this as the reason for her figure, instead of a poor diet: "I think I eat very healthily. I love vegetables, I eat very little meat and don't drink very much... I'm not a guzzler, but I am sedentary."
