Peaches Geldof in fake ID storm
Published Friday, Dec 15 2006, 10:56 GMT | By Ben Rawson-Jones
Peaches Geldof was reportedly refused entry to a club after a bouncer discovered her ID was fake.
The Sun claims that Geldof used a doctored copy of her passport to try to secure entry to the Koko club in Camden, London. Her date of birth was altered to give the impression she is 19, instead of her real age of 17.
The tabloid quotes a witness to the events as saying: "Peaches went to the front of the queue flashing her fake ID. The bouncer chucked her out. But she went round the back and got in anyway."
It is a criminal offence to falsify a passport. The punishment carries a maximum of ten years in prison.
