Top MP dumps Sian Lloyd for Cheeky Girl

A top Lib Dem MP has dumped fiancée Sian Lloyd for Cheeky Girls star Gabriela Irimia.
Lembit Opik met the singer at a showbiz party in October and they soon grew close, while the politician's relationship with TV weathergirl Sian deteriorated quickly.
"I was not the cause of his break-up with Sian," Gabriela told the News of the World. "Their relationship was dying before I came on the scene. Probably I gave him strength to end it."
Sian hit back: "His affair is like something out of a pantomime. They've been together for two months and I called off our engagement a couple of weeks ago. So you do the maths.
"Lembit was the great love of my life - I would never have agreed to marry him otherwise. But evidently he just isn't capable of an adult relationship. He's fond of soundbites and celebrity. I feel more sorrow than anger."
