Jason Donovan shunned by Sir Paul McCartney

Jason Donovan's attempts to have a picture taken with Sir Paul McCartney were reportedly shunned as the former Beatle had never heard of the Australian singer.

The pair were both attending George Michael's concert at Wembley Arena on Sunday when the I'm A Celebrity contestant came into contact with the Liverpudlian legend.

A witness told The Sun: "Jason had asked Macca’s aides if he could have a picture taken with him but they said 'No'. He did get to shake Macca’s hand because they were all sitting near each other, but Paul didn’t have a clue who he was."
