'The Office' star Lucy Davis: "I struggle with food"

The Office star Lucy Davis has confessed that she suffers from an eating disorder.

The actress, whose father is comedian Jasper Carrott, admitted that she has battled food issues all her life.



"I struggle with food, I have difficulties with food," Davis told The Sun.

She revealed that approaching her 40th birthday made her confront the issue by seeking the help of a therapist.

"I've had it my whole life," she said. "I had to think maybe it isn't about food or weight - it's something else altogether."

Davis, who played Dawn Tinsley in The Office, divorced Welsh actor Owain Yeoman last year.
