The One Direction star recently purchased the £3 million house in North London in order to be closer to his friends in Primrose Hill and Belsize Park.
However, The Sun reports that the four-bedroom home is known to be haunted by highwayman Dick Turpin.
The house backs on to a pub that was frequented by Turpin's gang in the 1700s. His ghost is said to have been seen inside and the hooves of his famous horse Black Bess have apparently been heard outside.
A source told the newspaper: "The ghost of Turpin has been spotted in the window - and according to legend you can hear the sounds of his horse Bess's hooves.
"Locals say he used to hide in the courtyard next to the pub waiting for his victims to come down the road before robbing them."
Styles is reportedly planning to keep his East London flat, which was the first property he bought after becoming famous on The X Factor.
