The Les Miserables star is said to have worn a custom Valentino gown for the outdoor ceremony, which took place in the Big Sur region of California.
The couple - who got engaged last November - were joined by more than 100 guests over the wedding weekend, which started on Friday (September 28) with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa.
Yesterday's night-time ceremony took place on a nearby private estate, with décor inspired by nature and the dramatic coastal surroundings. Hathaway's dress is said to have been off-the-shoulder and vintage inspired, and was worn with a long veil.
The Dark Knight Rises star reportedly hired Natalie Portman's wedding planner to help her with the traditional Jewish ceremony and the following reception. Portman had wed choreographer Benjamin Millepied in Big Sur in August.
Despite throwing a lavish New York engagement party in February, the 29-year-old had previously insisted that she would not be getting married until next year due to work commitments.
"We're getting married, probably sometime next year-ish," she told Hello magazine. "Not this year, it's too big with two films coming out.
"I haven't started planning yet I was filming Les Mis when we decided to do it, and there was no way I could think about anything wedding-related with my head in the space it was in then.
'I've been so busy since then. I've not even decided what sort of ceremony I want."
