Movie star contracts up for auction

20th Century Fox have released rare archive material to help an upcoming charity auction.
Among the treasured items are the contracts of Cary Grant and Clark Gable, as well as Judy Garland and Elvis Presley. Another is a memo sent round to the companies employees to tell them that Norma Jean Dougherty would thenceforth be known as Marilyn Monroe.
The money raised from the auction will be donated to the Motion Picture & Television Fund, which benefits all employees in the Hollywood film industry.
