Charlotte Church has topped a poll to find the perfect Christmas carols singer.

The former child prodigy beat competition from Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue in the survey, conducted by Thornton's chocolate manufacturers. Church would apparently be the ideal choice to give a private performance of Christmas carols over the festive period.

Williams came in a close second place, with Minogue in third. Gary Barlow and Jordan and Peter Andre complete the top five:
