Signed Beatles album sold at auction

A Beatles album signed by all four members of the band has been sold at auction for a record figure.
The signed copy of Meet the Beatles was presented as a gift to George Harrison's sister, Louise, in 1964.
Louise put the lot up for sale on internet auction site itsonlyrocknroll where it sold for over £58,000. According to Gigwise, bids started at £25,000.
John Lennon wrote on the album, 'To Lou, many love from John X', whilst Harrison wrote 'To Lou with love from Brother!!'.
The anonymous bidder is thought to have broken the record for the amount paid for a signed Beatles album.
