Vanessa Feltz gets engaged to boyfriend

Vanessa Feltz has got engaged to her boyfriend Ben Ofoedu.

The TV host was delighted when singer Ben popped the question while they were on holiday in Dublin earlier this week. They expect to get married in the summer.

"There had been rumours that he had a ring and was going to put it in a mince pie to propose to me. Christmas came and went - nothing!" Vanessa told the Daily Star. "Then we went out to La Stampa, a beautiful restaurant in Dublin. When we got back, I opened the door to our hotel room and the bed was absolutely covered in red roses.

"He'd had a local florist come in and arrange them in a heart shape. As I turned around he was on his knees. He asked me in the most wonderful way. The ring is a real beauty."
