Kylie is named world's best dressed

Kylie Minogue has been named the world's best dressed woman in a new poll.

The Australian pop singer beat last year's winner Kate Moss, and was praised by Glamour magazine for her "new, softer-looking style".

Editor Jo Elvin said of the singer's new style, "Kylie is still sexy, but is not flaunting it in gold hot pants any more."

Victoria Beckham came in a close second, after adopting a high fashion look this year.

Her husband David Beckham won the category for best dressed man, whilst Kate Moss's boyfriend Pete Doherty took the prize for worst dressed.
