Minogue's fourth waxwork is unveiled
The fourth waxwork of Kylie Minogue has been unveiled at Madame Tussaud’s.

The pop star - who appears in a red silk dress sitting on a crescent moon - is second only to the Queen, who has made five appearances at the museum.

Her setting in the new display is based on the image of her recent Showgirl tour but she sat for it to be modelled in November. She has previously posed for waxworkers in 1989, 1997 and 2005.

The new work is also the museum's first ever scented model after Kylie’s own Darling perfume was added to the the wax. It will also be sprayed daily by staff.

Meanwhile, a model of Victoria Beckham has apparently proved much less successful. “Kylie is a global star," explained a spokeswoman. "Posh is not really known in other parts of the world.”
