Paolo Nutini spent his 20th birthday at home with his parents in Scotland.

The Last Request singer was happy to spend time relaxing after completing his exhausting European tour; especially as he will soon be jetting off for a new set of gigs in the US.

"It's nice to have a family thing for Paolo after he has been away so much recently," Paolo's father Alfredo told the Daily Record.

A source at Paolo's management company added: "He's coming to the end of his holiday now but, for the time being, he wants to get some sleep and catch up with his family."
