Jamelia is surprised by birthday bash

Pop star Jamelia was treated to a surprise party at London's trendy Embassy club for her 26th birthday.

The lavish celebration was organised by her boyfriend Darren Byfield who, according to The Mirror, splashed out thousands of pounds on champagne and canopes, including sushi and salmon bagels.

Jamelia apparently was so overwhelmed at being met by her friends and family that she burst into tears.

Guests at the party included England captain John Terry and his fiance Toni Poole, West Ham's Anton Ferdinand and the entire Millwall squad.

A source told The Mirror, "All the players were on their best behaviour and the desperate bimbos were left on the steps begging to get in."
